When is EMF 2025?The festival will be taking place over the weekend of Friday June 20th, Saturday June 21st and Sunday June 22nd, 2025.

What is the age requirement to attend the festival?The Escapade Music Festival is an event reserved for individuals aged 16 and older ONLY, no exceptions. Age requirements: 16 and over to enter. 19+ to consume alcohol, 2 IDs required. VIP passes are reserved for persons aged 19 and older. Each person will be required to show a valid government issued photo ID. Escapade Music Festival reserves the right to refuse entry to anyone under the required age and/or without a valid form of ID (see question below for forms of ID accepted) without refund.

How will you verify the age of the festival-goers?Each individual entering the grounds will be required to show a valid government issued photo ID. The legal drinking age in Ontario is 19. If you wish to consume any alcoholic beverages at the event or have a VIP ticket, please have two (2) valid pieces of identification with you. Pictures and/or photocopies of IDs will not be accepted. Acceptable forms of ID: - Any government-issued driver’s license or ID card containing a photograph and date of birth - Government-issued passport containing a photograph and date of birth (Foreign government-issued allowed) - Foreign government-issued driver’s license/ID with color photocopy of passport (Not valid for 19+ wristband. To purchase alcohol or enter VIP areas, a physical passport or US ID will be required.) - Temporary DMV documents proving you are currently renewing a license—ONLY if accompanied by passport or expired license Unacceptable ID: - School ID - Consular ID - Birth certificate - Expired ID of any kind - Photocopy of any ID (except as noted) - Temporary DMV license without passport or expired license

Am I able to exit and re-enter the festival grounds at any time?No, once you exit the festival grounds, you cannot be re-admitted. This means you have the option to leave the festival at any time; however, it's important to note that re-admittance is not permitted once you leave that same day.

What time do the festival doors open and close?Doors will open when the first artist of the day takes the stage and close 30 minutes before the last artist takes the stage. A detailed set time will be available as the festival approaches.

When will set times be released?Set times are typically released on the week of the festival, and will be released through our official EMF app.

Will there be security on site?Yes, security personnel will be stationed across the festival grounds and will be readily available to assist at any time, should the need arise.

Will I be able to buy food on site?Yes, you will be able to purchase food on site, as we will have a variety of food vendors available to cater to different dietary preferences and needs.

What happens if it rains?Rain 🌧 or shine ☀️ , the show must go on! We recommend keeping an eye on the forecast and dressing accordingly to make the most of your EMF experience!

What are the accepted methods of payment at the festival?We accept various payment methods, including Visa, Mastercard, and American Express credit cards, debit cards. No cash will be accepted.

What accessibility accommodations does EMF have?At Escapade Music Festival, we accomodate all festival goers. Entrances: Gate 1 and Gate 2 have accessible entrances (with ramps). Washrooms: There will be accessible restrooms located at all stages (ground entrance, no stairs, wide doors). Will a medical team be available on-site during the event?Absolutely, the health and safety of our attendees is our priority. Medical tents and roving medical teams, will be on-site. We advise attendees to familiarize themselves with the locations of these facilities upon arrival. Additionally, our event staff will be available to assist you should you require any help.

What's the EMF 2025 code of conduct?Patron Code of Conduct At Escapade Music Festival, great events are the heart of what we do. An important part of any great event is ensuring a safe, respectful, and inclusive environment for our guests, artists and staff to experience. We are committed to creating a safe, comfortable, and enjoyable experience for everyone. We ask that your conduct contribute to everyone’s enjoyment of the event, be legally appropriate, and not be offensive or abusive to others. For your safety and comfort, unacceptable conduct is subject to ejection and includes, but is not limited to, the following: • Use of foul, threatening, offensive or abusive language or gestures. • Discrimination, bullying or hate that harasses, victimizes, degrades, or intimidates an individual or group of individuals on the basis of religion, race, national origin, ethnicity, sexual orientation, gender, age, ability, physical appearance or other. • Harassment, including unwelcome or hostile behavior, physical contact or sexual attention. • Fighting or any other type of violence. • Wearing or using clothing, signs, and banners which are offensive in nature. • Intoxication or impairment due to alcohol/cannabis or consumption of illegal substances. • Throwing objects or interfering with the progress of the event. • Being in possession of alcohol not purchased inside the festival • Being a minor in possession of alcohol or providing a minor with alcohol. • Being in possession of weapons, illegal substances or any other prohibited items. • Smoking (including e-cigarettes, personal vapourizers, and cannabis) inside the venue. • Unpermitted access and breaching perimeters to the festival VIP areas or other restricted areas. • Any other conduct that may be deemed by Escapade Music Festival to be inappropriate or which may adversely affect the safety of persons or property, or disruption of the event. Escapade Music Festival will not tolerate any unsafe, offensive behaviour that violates of Fan Code of Conduct. Failure to abide by this Code may result in ejection, suspension from entering any or all of our festivals. Each of us has a responsibility to report any act that goes against the values that we stand for. So, if you see something, say something. Report any safety concerns to our management team right away.

Additional general informationAll ticket sales are final (non-refundable and cannot be exchanged.) The event's schedule and performances are subject to change without prior notice. The Escapade Music Festival will not be responsible for any personal items that are lost, stolen, or damaged. It's best to avoid bringing valuables to the festival.

Will you have a bag check?No, there will be no bag check at the festival this year. We encourage you to read the permitted items list for bag size allocation and restrictions.

What is the bag policy?Here are the types of bags that are allowed inside the festival grounds: - Single compartment hydration packs (Camelbak or other brands) with a maximum empty size of 70 oz. Must be empty upon arrival; - Small bags (wallet, fanny pack, small handbag or shoulder bag) measuring up to 7.5 x 5 inches, with or without a handle/strap. Subject to security inspection and discretion; - Clear plastic, vinyl, or PVC bags not exceeding 12″ x 6″ x 12″. Subject to security check and approval; Please note that all other types of bags, including large bags (sports bags, travel luggage, etc.), are not permitted. Be aware that all bags will be subject to a security check at the festival entrance. The security team reserves the right to refuse entry to any type of bag that does not meet the above criteria and/or for safety reasons.

What items are allowed on the festival grounds?The following items are allowed: - Single compartment hydration packs (Camelbak or other brands) with a maximum empty size of 70 oz. Must be empty upon arrival; - Small bags (wallet, fanny pack, small handbag or shoulder bag) measuring up to 7.5 x 5 inches, with or without a handle/strap. Subject to security inspection and discretion; - Clear plastic, vinyl, or PVC bags not exceeding 12″ x 6″ x 12″. Subject to security check and approval; - Reusable soft plastic water bottles (maximum size of 32 oz, must be empty upon arrival); - New and sealed disposable e-cigarettes or vape pens in their original packaging; - New and sealed e-cigarette liquids and cartridges; - New and sealed packs of cigarettes; - Point and shoot, non-professional cameras and GoPros (handheld, head and chest mounts permitted); - Jewelry, masks, and 'Kandi'-style light-up accessories; - Inflatables and flags; - Prescription medication (you must have the prescription in your name with you); - Earplugs; - Small towels; - New and sealed sunscreen (lotion, unused and/or sealed); - New, unused and/or sealed lip balm/glass and tampons; - Powder or solid makeup (face powder, blush, palettes, eye shadows, and pencils); - New and sealed packets of gum. Please note that this list is subject to change and items may undergo security inspection at the entrance.

What items are prohibited on the festival grounds?The following items are prohibited: - All non-clear backpacks/bags; - Non-transparent bags exceeding 7.5 x 5 inches; - Firearms, knives, or any other potentially dangerous objects; - Illegal substances, drugs, and prohibited products; - Any item deemed inappropriate or disruptive to the event by the security team; - Coolers, thermoses, or containers; - Reusable water bottles made of glass, metal, or any material other than plastic; - Glass items such as bottles, glasses, or glass containers; - Food or beverages from outside the venue; - Flammable objects or liquids, including aerosols, fireworks, firecrackers or explosives; - Camping equipment, including tents and inflatable mattresses, blankets/sleeping bags; - Folding chairs or any other portable seating; - Professional photography or video equipment; - Selfie sticks or camera poles. - Pets, except for duly authorized service animals; - Umbrellas; - Hard poles/flag poles, banners or signs; - Megaphones; - Recorders; - Laser pointers; - Musical instruments; - Air horns; - Gang-affiliated clothing representing criminal activity; - Bicycles, skateboards, or rollerblades; - Beach balls, soccer balls, baseballs, etc. Please note that this list is not exhaustive, and additional items may be prohibited at the discretion of the security team. Any of the above items will be confiscated and not returned.

Can I bring a reusable water bottle?Yes, empty reusable soft plastic water bottles are allowed (max 32 oz). Any other type of reusable bottle is subject to confiscation and will not be returned (metal, hard plastic, glass, etc.) These must be empty upon entry and can be filled at our free water stations.

Can I bring food and/or beverages?No, bringing any outside food or beverages onto the festival grounds is strictly prohibited.

What happens if I bring an item that is on the prohibited list?Items will be confiscated and will not be returned. Depending on the item, you may also be denied access to the site, without refund.

I have medication prescribed by a doctor. What is the procedure for bringing it into the festival?To be admitted, all prescription medication must be in their original containers with appropriate labels matching the ID of the person carrying them. Bringing a doctor's note can also help facilitate and expedite the security screening process.

What's the cannabis, E-cigs/vaping policy?Escapade Music Festival is fully supportive of the government’s decision to legalize cannabis for adults. If you choose to attend the festival in possession of cigarettes, cannabis, or vaping products, you will be permitted to bring the products onto the festival site in government sealed packages. However, the city of Ottawa bylaws restrict the use of cigarettes, cannabis or vaping products on their public parks and green spaces. Any use of the products listed above will be enforced under city bylaws. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation.

What's the age requirement?The age requirements for the different types of tickets are as follows: General Admission Tickets: Available to individuals aged 16 and over. VIP and Booth Tickets: Restricted to individuals who are 19 years of age or older.

What's included in the VIP ticket?VIP tickets include: - Dedicated VIP entrance to the festival - Access to all GA areas - Access to the VIP area featuring an elevated viewing platform, exclusive VIP bar and restrooms (located at the main stage) Please note that VIP tickets are reserved for individuals aged 19+ only.

I purchased passes from a reseller, third party, etc. How can I guarantee that they are legitimate and valid ?Only passes purchased through Front Gate Tickets, the official ticketing vendor for the Escapade Music Festival, are guaranteed to be valid. We strongly discourage you from purchasing passes from a third party or reseller. We cannot provide assistance, authentication or support for passes purchased through unauthorized third parties. The validation of the pass purchased from a third party can only be validated during the daily scan on the site.

What is the refund policy?All sales are final. Refunds and/or exchanges are NOT available.

What happens if an artist cancels?All scheduled performances at the festival, including those of headlining artists, are subject to change or cancellation without notice. No refunds will be given for such changes or cancellations.

What happens if I lose or misplace my wristband?If you lost or misplaced your wristband, you must purchase a replacement at the Box office. In order for us to process the replacement, you must provide your order number and present the ID that matches the name on the account. If you do not have an order number, we will not replace your wristband. 2024 fee for wristband replacement is $60.

Wristband Replacements (Lost, Broken, etc)Wristbands must be on the fesitval goers wrist for the full duration of the fesitval. Wristbands may be replaced for the following reasons: - Lost or misplaced; - Too tight or broken. In order for us to process the replacement, you must provide your order number and present the ID that matches the name on the account. The fee for a wristband replacement is $60. If you do not have an order number, we will not replace your wristband. *Festival reserves the right to not approve wristband replacements. Each request will be reviewed on a case by case basis prior to any decision being made by festival management.

I bought a GA wristband and I want to upgrade to VIP.You can upgrade your GA wristband to VIP at Box Office. Must provide order number from original order, provide the ID that matches the name on the order, and your wristband. *Subject to availability.
